What are the “legitimate interests” being pursued that allow you to process my information?

Fleet Assure act as a Data Processor of our clients’ data in respect of their fleet management systems.

The legitimate interests pursued by Fleet Assure are:

  • To offer relevant products and services to our clients
  • We understand that our clients would expect us to use their data in this way, and that doing so has a minimal privacy impact.
  • To provide a facility for our clients to store and interrogate their own data concerning vehicles and those who operate them

The method and frequency of communications to clients do not impact vulnerable individuals.

All individual customer data is available to the customer to rectify.

When processing is restricted, Fleet Assure is permitted to store your personal data, but not to process it further. The business can retain just enough information about you to ensure the restriction is respected in the future.
